TPF Recruitment Ltd, partnering with a growing accountancy practice in Luton, seeks an Audit and Accounts Senior. You will lead mid-tier audit engagements, supervise junior staff, and apply UK GAAP and UK Auditing Standards (UKAS) with precision.

You will be studying towards ACA or ACCA, aiming for qualification, and will cultivate strong client relationships while developing technical and leadership skills in a supportive environment. Hybrid work is offered with modern facilities in Luton.

Competenze

• Currently studying towards ACA or ACCA with strong academic performance
• Minimum 2 years of relevant audit experience within a UK-based firm
• Proven expertise in UK GAAP and UK Auditing Standards (UKAS)
• Proficiency in audit fieldwork including testing and controls evaluation
• Proficiency in audit software (CaseWare, TeamMate) and advanced Excel

Mansioni

• Lead and manage audit fieldwork for mid-tier clients, ensuring timely and compliant delivery
• Apply UK GAAP and UKAS in preparation, review, and documentation of financial statements and workpapers
• Perform risk assessments, evaluate internal controls, and design audit procedures
• Mentor and supervise junior team members and provide technical guidance
• Prepare and review audit schedules, reconciliations, and working papers
• Serve as a key client contact, managing queries and document submissions
• Contribute to audit planning and resource allocation
• Identify significant audit findings and report to Audit Managers and Partners
• Stay up to date with evolving accounting standards and regulations
