Job Opportunity: Audit and Accounts Senior

An opportunity has arisen due to the growth of the firm’s client base to join a regional, award-winning Accountancy Practice in Blackburn.

The role reports directly to the partners, who are looking for someone to progress in their role and assist in the development of junior team members.

Responsibilities include:

1. Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion for clients of varying sizes and sectors.
2. Understanding and reviewing corporate tax computations.
3. Controlling the production of accounts for clients.
4. Working on special projects for the corporate finance and tax teams.
5. Managing a client portfolio with annual turnovers typically between £10m and £40m, with opportunities to work with clients in the £80m to £100m range.
6. Taking on a supervisory role for a designated client portfolio, with exposure to management and statutory accounts preparation.

Applicants should be qualified in ACA/ACCA and possess strong accounting and auditing skills from a professional practice background.
