Job summary

Clark Wood are assisting a regional South Yorkshire-based firm in Sheffield to recruit an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior. The role focuses on audits from planning through to completion, with involvement in statutory accounts and compliance work.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or studying ACA/ACCA, with experience in a UK accountancy practice and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in audit and accounts. Hybrid working and study support are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK accountancy practice and audits.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop a long-term career in practice.
• AAT qualification or ACA/ACCA studies in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist on audit assignments for a varied portfolio of clients.
• Support audit fieldwork on-site and remotely.
• Prepare statutory accounts and assist with corporation tax work.
