ACCA Careers in Camberley is seeking an Audit & Accounts Senior to lead audit assignments and prepare financial statements across a range of clients in the accountancy sector.

The role offers hybrid and agile working, with a salary between £40,000 and £50,000 and permanent employment. You will mentor junior staff, ensure compliance with standards, and develop client relationships to tailor advisory services.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of auditing and accounting principles.
• Experience managing audit and accounts assignments.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Prepare financial statements and accounts for a variety of clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored advice.
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support.
• Review work completed by other team members to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Assist with tax computations and VAT returns where required.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting and auditing regulations.
