Job summary

Insite Group in Manchester is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior to join a friendly, collaborative team. The role offers exposure to audit and accounts for owner-managed businesses, with strong study support and mentoring to progress toward ACCA.

You’ll work across a broad portfolio, building client relationships, and developing technical skills using cloud-based and desktop software. The package includes a salary of £30,000–£38,000 and flexible working.

Qualifications

• Around two years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Experience preparing accounts for a range of business entities.
• Good working knowledge of accounting software.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with both colleagues and clients.
• A proactive attitude with excellent organisation and teamwork skills.
• AAT studies underway or completed, with an interest in progressing towards ACCA.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Working closely with senior team members and managers on a varied client portfolio.
• Building strong relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries.

The Role
