Job summary

RECfinancial is seeking an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior for a leading East Midlands practice. You will work with a varied portfolio of clients, helping prepare statutory accounts and tax computations, and supporting trainees.

Hybrid working is offered with study support, 34 days holiday, private health care and life assurance. Sponsorship is not available for non-UK applicants.

Qualifications

• Ideally AAT qualified with previous accountancy practice experience. (2 years)
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Genuine passion for delivering great client service and being part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end Audit, ensuring all work is complete and signed off
• Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations for a varied client portfolio
• Support development of trainees and build client relationships
• Participate in charity and not-for-profit audits and pension schemes as needed

You’ll work with a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries, helping to prepare stat accounts, tax computations while building relationships and supporting the development of trainees.

With exposure to specialist areas including charities, not-for-profit organisations and pension schemes, this is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience, take ownership of your work and make a real contribution to a highly regarded practice. You'll also help assist with full end to end Audit, ensuring all work is complete and signed off., gained through gathering of all Audit information, working papers, stock evaluation etc.

What we’re looking for:

• Ideally AAT qualified with previous accountancy practice experience. (2 years)
• Someone bright, enthusiastic and keen to progress.
• Experience of Audit, from assisting with clients to ensuring all work is complete and signed off
• A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for delivering great client service and being part of a team.
