A reputable multiple Partner accountancy firm based in the heart of London, in Westminster, near Victoria station, is recruiting for a newly created position within their senior management team. This role will oversee the Audit Manager and a team of 8 individuals, as well as support the accountancy partners in winning work, developing the practice, and taking on a compliance role within the firm.

Audit & Accounts Partner Designate Job Overview

1. As part of the management team, the Audit and Accounts Senior Manager will assist the partners and Audit Manager with the review of high-quality statutory audits and accounts preparation services.
2. The role will be split evenly between audit (50%, primarily review and compliance) and accounts review (50%).
3. There will be opportunities to manage a portfolio of complex clients currently handled by the firm's partners.
4. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong audit knowledge seeking to broaden their management experience and become a key decision-maker within the practice.
5. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, networking events, and demonstrating strong business development skills to attract and win new clients.

Job Requirements

• Strong audit experience within practice is essential.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing audit and accounts files.
• Proficiency with Sage, Caseware, Xero, and cloud-based software is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with client-facing experience.
• This role is suitable for an experienced Audit Lead, Audit Senior, or Audit Manager with substantial audit and accounts experience in an accountancy practice.
• Excellent business development skills to add value to the practice.
• ACA/ACCA qualified.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior practice-based role.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.

Salary & Benefits

• Flexible salary dependent on skills and experience, ranging from £65,000 to £80,000 per annum.
• 33 days holiday.
• Direct reporting to partners.

• Flexible work-from-home options after probation (primarily office-based role).
• Working hours: 09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday.
