A reputable multiple Partner accountancy firm based in the heart of London, in Westminster, near Victoria station are recruiting for a newly created position within their senior management team. This role will be overseeing the Audit Manager and team of 8 individuals as well as supporting the accountancy partners to win work, develop the practice and take on a compliance role within the firm.

Audit & Accounts Partner Designate Job Overview

As part of the management team, the Audit and Accounts Senior Manager, you will be assisting the partners and Audit Manager with the review of the highest quality statutory audit and accounts preparation services.

The split will be audit 50% (not hands on, review & compliance only) and accounts review 50%. In time there will be the opportunity to look after a portfolio of complex clients that the firm's partners currently manage. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant with excellent audit knowledge looking to broaden their management experience and become a key decision maker with the practice.

Attending client meetings and networking events, strong business development background and confidence in winning new clients.

Audit & Accounts Partner Designate Job Requirements

  1. Strong audit experience within practice is essential
  2. Experience preparing & reviewing audit and accounts files
  3. Experience in Sage, Caseware, Xero and cloud-based software is essential
  4. Strong leadership experience, client facing
  5. This Audit and Accounts Senior is suitable for an experienced Audit lead, Audit Senior or Audit manager with strong audit and accounts experience within an accountancy practice.
  6. Excellent business development skills to add value to the practice
  7. ACA/ACCA qualified
  8. At least 5 years experience in a senior practice-based role
  9. The ability to manage workload and deadlines

Audit & Accounts Partner Designate Salary & Benefits

Flexible salary dependant on skills and experience - Between £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
