Job summary

Fletcher George Recruitment is supporting a growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Surrey with the appointment of an Audit and Accounts Director as part of its succession planning.

This leadership role offers a defined route to Partnership and the opportunity to progress to RI status, with a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and a broad portfolio of audit, accounts and advisory work across Surrey and the South East.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice across audit and accounts.
• Ambition to progress to Partnership and RI status.
• Commercial, relationship-led approach to client work.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments and oversee delivery across a diverse client portfolio.
• Support statutory accounts review under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
• Build long-term client relationships and work with Partners on growth strategies.
• Support business development across Surrey and the South East.
• Mentor ACA/ACCA trainees and progress towards RI status.
