Job summary

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an audiologist to join the audiology team in Kettering. The role covers routine diagnostic and rehabilitative testing for non-complex adults and children aged 5 to 18, with clinics at Irthingborough and Corby. A driving licence and access to a car are essential.

HCPC or AHCS registration and at least one year post-qualification NHS experience are required; interviews are face to face.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Audiology or BAAT Part 1 and 2.
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Membership of BAA or BSA

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures for non-complex adults, including direct referrals, re‑assessments, follow‑ups and repairs
• Work independently on routine adult appointments, including fittings and reviews
• Provide expert clinical service for ENT support clinics
• Carry out routine testing for children aged 5 to 18
• Support clinics at Kettering General Hospital, Irthingborough and Corby
• Assist with non-clinical audit, service evaluations and maintenance of department protocols
