Job summary

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Audiologist to join our friendly team to deliver a comprehensive range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology procedures for adults and non-complex children. This role is based in a clinical setting with NHS pathways including direct referrals and ENT support.

Ideally, NHS experience and independence for routine adult appointments are required, with additional consideration for those with children’s diagnostic testing

Qualifications

• Essential: BSc (Hon) Audiology or BAAT Part 1 and 2.
• Essential: HCPC or AHCS registration to practice as an Audiologist/Clinical Scientist.
• Essential: Evidence of CPD.
• Essential: Membership of BAA, BSA.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes routine diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures for non-complex adults, including Direct Referrals, Re-Assessments, Follow Up's, and Repairs.
• Provides expert clinical service for ENT support clinics.
• Undertake routine testing for children aged 5-18.

We are looking for a motivated and qualified Audiologist to join our friendly team to help deliver a comprehensive range of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology procedures to adults and non-complex children.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has NHS experience and can work independently for all routine adult appointments including:

• Direct referral
• ENT clinical support
• Fittings
• Review
• Repairs

In addition, experience with children's diagnostic testing aged 4 and above would be favourable.

Although based at Kettering General Hospital we also have clinics at Irthingborough (Nene Park Hospital) and Corby that you will be asked to support, and therefore a UK driving license and access to a car are essential.

Main duties of the job
