Job summary

Sensory Audiology & Optical Recruitment partners with a long-standing family-run hearing and eye care company to recruit a Hearing Aid Audiologist in Exeter. The role offers a competitive remuneration package and a generous car allowance, plus professional development opportunities.

You will conduct hearing assessments, fit devices, educate patients, and work with a team to provide excellent NHS-adjacent services across multiple stores nationwide.

Qualifications

• Qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist.
• Experience with NHS Adult Hearing Services preferred.
• Strong patient-care focus and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for patients.
• Determine extent and nature of hearing loss using diagnostic tests and equipment.
• Recommend and fit appropriate hearing aids and assistive devices.
• Provide counselling and education on proper use and care of hearing aids.
• Monitor progress and adjust fittings as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on treatment plans.
• Stay updated on advancements in audiology and hearing aid tech.

Our client's aim is to provide all patients with exceptional hearing and optical care. The expansion of their hearing business has boosted continued steady growth, with hearing care now provided in many external optical retailers across over 400 outlets nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and evaluations for patients

• Staying updated on the latest advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology
