Job summary

The Natural History Museum in London is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join Technology Solutions. You will support AV presentation across the museum’s lecture theatre, seminar space and broadcast studio, and assist with first line support and maintenance of hybrid meeting rooms.

Working 100% on site in South Kensington, you will prioritise equipment repairs, coordinate AV user needs, and support established third party staff to ensure smooth operations during events and

About the role

Are you a keen audio visual technician looking for a new challenge? Technology Solutions is seeking a talented technician to join our team providing audio visual services across The Natural History Museum in South Kensington. Working with the Audio Visual Manager and Senior Technician, the role will support, in a hands on capacity, the audio visual presentation across the museum's lecture theatre, seminar space and broadcast studio. The role will also assist with the first line support and maintenance of all hybrid meeting rooms across the museum, whilst supporting the Senior Audio Visual Technician with prioritising equipment repairs and replacements across the provision, as well as assisting established third party agency staff.

About you

We are looking for a skilled technician with a working knowledge of AV infrastructure, MTR solutions and a high level of IT literacy. Comfortable working on your own initiative with strong time management, you will have experience in audio visual environments such as conference centres, meeting rooms and broadcast studios, and be able to prioritise and coordinate the needs of AV users across the Museum in a sensitive and diplomatic manner.
