A healthcare organization in Scotland is seeking an Audio Typist/Clerical Officer to join the Psychiatry of Old Age Team. The role includes audio typing and clerical duties, requiring accurate keyboard skills and excellent communication. Experience with medical terminology and hospital IT systems is desirable. Applications are invited for the post of Audio Typist/Clerical Officer, Band 2 based within the Psychiatry of Old Age Team – Angus, based at Susan Carnegie Centre, Stracathro Hospital.
We are looking for an individual who can undertake audio typing and clerical duties. You should have accurate keyboard skills along with excellent communication skills and experience of general office duties. The ability to work harmoniously within a team environment is essential. Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable. Experience of medical record processing and hospital IT systems would be advantageous.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Hours of work are 18.53 per week – these will be worked over 5 days per week.
