HARMAN Lifestyle in Southwater, UK is hiring a Quality Development Technician to join the on-site Quality Assurance team. You will conduct hands-on testing across hardware, software, mobile apps, and connected devices, report issues, and help improve product quality before launch.

Qualifications

• Practical and methodical approach to testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Understanding HDMI technology, audio formats, and streaming services.
• Experience with consumer electronics, mobile apps and networks.
• Good written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in testing, validation, or QA preferred.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools desirable.

Responsabilités

• Join QA team to support development and testing of premium audio products.
• Work with engineers to ensure products meet specs before release.
• Conduct hands-on testing across hardware, software, mobile apps and networks.
• Identify issues, record results and help improve product quality.
• Set up test environments and validate software updates.
• Create and review test plans for different configurations.
• Document defects clearly using Jira and support root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate across teams and adhere to safety requirements.
