Job summary

BCA is seeking an Inspector / Audatex Assessor at its site in Thurleigh. The role involves performing Audatex assessments, cosmetic inspections, and site damage reviews to produce accurate transport damage quotes and reports.

The job requires a proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work with multiple teams across the site. A full UK driving licence is essential and flexibility for overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Audatex capability is desirable; training provided for the right candidate.
• Experience in automotive inspection or related automotive roles is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cosmetic inspections and identify damage and repair needs.
• Complete Audatex and damage assessments to produce transport quotes and site reports.
• Maintain accurate records across systems and documentation.
• Support daily workflow to meet deadlines and boost team throughput.
• Quality check images before publication for accuracy and consistency.
• Communicate issues clearly and participate in team briefings.
• Ensure health & safety compliance in all tasks.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
