Job summary

Frome College is seeking an Attendance Manager to lead attendance operations within the pastoral team. You will collaborate with students, families, colleagues and external agencies to ensure accurate records, coordinate interventions and promote a culture of excellent attendance.

Role runs 8:30am-4:15pm Mon-Thu and 8:30am-5:00pm on Fridays with benefits including free parking and onsite amenities. Salary from £27,990 to £29,908 per year.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently and sensitively in challenging situations.
• Organise welfare/home visits; own vehicle and business insurance required.
• Work independently, take initiative and follow procedures.
• Strong IT skills with Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee attendance management across the college to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate appropriate interventions to promote excellent attendance culture.
• Collaborate with students, families, staff and external agencies to support attendance.
