Job summary

Abraham Moss Community School in Crumpsall, Manchester, is seeking an Attendance & Pupil Services Assistant to support the Attendance Team and ensure smooth administration of Pupil Services.

The role involves home visits for pupils with attendance below 85%, handling MCAS communications, and safeguarding commitments; a full driving license is essential for home visits.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent essential.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification desirable.

  • To monitor and record Patrol requests, alerting Patrol as necessary and ensure all Patrol requests are logged accordingly; informing relevant staff of the correct procedures if necessary;

Your Role

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Attendance & Pupil Services Assistant to join our dedicated team at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.



The core purpose of the role will be to


  1. Work within the Attendance Team and Pupil Services.

  2. Be responsible for undertaking identified attendance tasks and aspects of service and administration to ensure the smooth running of Pupil Services.

  3. Undertake home visits for pupils whose attendance falls below 85% and for those who attend after the close of registers. A full driving licence is esstential for home visits.
