Job summary

Aureus School is seeking an Attendance Officer to join our Pastoral team and help maintain accurate attendance records, ensuring every child has the best opportunity to succeed. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team and Home School Link Worker, promoting good attendance and punctuality with families and staff.

The role is permanent, term-time only, with a GLF Schools context. It offers a structured schedule and the chance to contribute to a supportive school community

Qualifications

• Highly organised and detail oriented with a passion for supporting young people.
• Excellent communication skills with families, teachers and external agencies.
• Commitment to confidentiality in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record student attendance data accurately.
• Liaise with families, teachers and pastoral team to promote good attendance.
• Coordinate with external agencies as needed to support attendance and punctuality.
