Job summary

Forever Education, working with a secondary school in Luton, is seeking an experienced Attendance Officer to join its pastoral and attendance team. You will monitor attendance, communicate with parents, and maintain accurate records to support improved student outcomes.

The successful candidate will have previous Attendance Officer experience in a school and be organised, resilient, and capable of handling sensitive conversations.

Qualifications

• Experience proactively monitoring attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to interpret attendance data and identify trends.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily attendance and punctuality, flag concerns.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and prepare reports.

• Collaborate with teaching and pastoral staff to support pupils.
• Produce attendance analyses to inform whole-school strategies.
