Swanwick Hall School on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border is inviting applications for an Attendance Officer to support students’ attendance and punctuality. The role is office-based with some home visits, monitoring attendance data, contacting absent students, and coordinating with families and external agencies.

The ideal candidate will be discreet, resilient and able to engage diplomatically with students, parents and the Pastoral Team.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor attendance data and track patterns.
  • Make contact with absent students to support return to school.
  • Implement plans with families to improve attendance and punctuality.
  • Coordinate with the Pastoral Team and outside agencies as needed.
  • Some home visits may be required as part of outreach.

We are currently seeking to appoint an Attendance officer working with the Pastoral Team, families and outside agencies to support students with their attendance and punctuality. This is an office-based role however some home visits will be required. The role involves monitoring attendance data, making contact with absent students and implementing plans to improve the regular attendance at school. The person: The successful candidate will be a positive person who is supportive, helpful, discreet and can engage with people in a diplomatic and professional manner. The ideal candidate will be resilient and have the ability to adapt to challenging situations and maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information. Why join us?
