Job summary

Northampton Academy is seeking an Attendance Officer to monitor student attendance and support improved educational outcomes. Working within the pastoral team, you will track attendance patterns and liaise with students, families and staff to promote good attendance.

Experience in administration in an educational setting is helpful, along with a calm manner under pressure and a professional approach. An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Job description

This Attendance Officer post sits within the pastoral team at Northampton Academy. The post-holder keeps a close watch on student attendance and works to raise it, so that pupils achieve better educational outcomes. Administrative experience in an educational setting, a calm manner under pressure and a professional approach with students, staff and parents are sought. An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
