Job summary

Putteridge High School in the United Kingdom is seeking an Attendance Officer to join its busy school office. The role is term-time with 5 training days, totaling 37 hours per week.

Starting salary is £24,470 pro-rata on the NJC scale, with progression points 9–14 as you gain experience. The successful candidate will be highly organised, able to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment, and work with professionalism in a team-focused setting.

• Maintain accurate attendance records and respond to absences promptly

  Attendance Officer

  Term time + 5 training days - 37 hours a week

  Grade: NJC L4 point 9 - 14 (Starting salary £24,470 -pro-rata)

  We are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to join our team. Due to the nature of this role the candidate will be confident and experienced in working within a school environment and working positively as part of a busy team with a can-do attitude.

  The right candidate needs to be highly organised with the ability to respond quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the vision, aims and ethos of the school. The candidate will possess an excellent telephone manner, be professional and be able to work as part of a tam and on their own initiative. Office experience is preferred, ideally within a school office environment.
