Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Wirral is seeking an Attendance Administrator to maintain daily attendance records, monitor patterns, and support schools with absences and documentation. You will identify trends and liaise with staff, parents and external agencies as needed.

The role runs Tue-Fri 8:00am–4:00pm, term-time only, on a temporary basis until July 2026. Above-market daily pay, paid weekly via PAYE, and dedicated support accompany the package.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Experience using Arbor (essential).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Confidence using computer systems and attendance software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify patterns in data.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update daily attendance records accurately.
• Monitor attendance patterns, including absences, lateness, and early departures.
• Follow up on unexplained absences and ensure appropriate documentation is received.
• Support the school in identifying attendance trends and concerns.
• Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies where required.
