Job summary

Raytheon UK seeks a Software Engineering Manager for ATMS at its Harlow facility. You will lead a multidisciplinary software team, delivering software solutions for military and civil customers while ensuring governance, security and quality across programs.

You will shape engineering strategy, manage performance, and collaborate across Systems, Test, Product Management and Cyber Security teams to enable successful delivery in a safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams across the product development lifecycle.
• Experience delivering software in regulated, safety-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, SDLC governance and engineering governance.
• Proven ability to drive Agile delivery, CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ATMS Software Engineering team across programmes, product developments and R&D.
• Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and career development for engineers.
• Lead technical proposals, software estimates and responses to bids.
• Drive software architecture, design and development with internal and external partners.
• Establish software engineering standards, governance and metrics.
• Oversee integration, verification, validation and release activities.
