Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking an Atlassian Technical Engineer for a 6-month hybrid project in the Midlands, UK. You will optimize, maintain, and extend Atlassian solutions, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, while delivering impactful business outcomes.

The role requires 3-5 years of hands-on Atlassian delivery experience, strong scripting/API skills, and familiarity with Agile/DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience with Atlassian delivery and application engineering.
• Proven expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian marketplace tools.
• Atlassian technical migration certifications and accreditation.
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian administration, including Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Jira Service Management configuration.
• API, scripting, and CI/CD automation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and ITIL frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Managing Atlassian applications including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
• Upgrading, migrating, and consolidating Atlassian instances.
• Performing technical assessments and health checks.
• Configuring Jira Service Management, including queues, SLAs, and automation.

This role involves ensuring the optimal configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Atlassian tools to meet organisational and client needs. You will work on Atlassian solutions, Marketplace apps, and supporting technologies, delivering impactful business solutions.
