Job summary

CBSbutler Ltd. is seeking an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale Atlassian environment for a major government technology programme.

You will administer Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, perform upgrades and migrations, and configure Jira Service Management within an Agile delivery context. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days onsite in Telford and a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of delivering Atlassian solutions.
• Strong administration experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience delivering Atlassian upgrades and migrations.
• Atlassian Certifications or Technical Migration accreditation.
• Administration experience with Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Jira Service Management configuration experience.
• Knowledge of APIs, scripting and system integrations.
• Experience supporting CI/CD tooling and automation.
• Strong communication skills and experience working within Agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Configuring Jira Service Management, including queues, SLAs and automation.
• Performing technical health checks and platform optimisation.
• Developing integrations using APIs and scripting.

• Configuring workflows, dashboards, custom fields and Marketplace add-ons.
• Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust Atlassian solutions.

We're looking for an experienced Atlassian Technical Engineer to join a major government technology programme, supporting and enhancing a large-scale enterprise Atlassian environment.
