ATF Coordinator & Workshop Technician

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on individual to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our DVSA-authorized testing facility while also assisting with minor engineering tasks in our workshop. In this role, you will ensure compliance with DVSA regulations, oversee vehicle testing procedures, and maintain accurate records. Additionally, you will provide technical support by performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Liaise with DVSA for site testing requirements
2. Manage customer and Arriva own vehicle test slots
3. Challenge Arriva own test result queries at time of query (if fail/advisory/Prohibition)
4. Manage DVSA contractor and visitors (H&S and site rules compliance)
5. Process third party payment and report to accounts
6. Carry out voluntary tests for customers
7. Assist depot in Management of contractors (if/when IOSH trained)
8. Carry out any multi-skilled vehicle maintenance tasks assigned by the engineering management team
9. Transfer completely to the workshop to carry out vehicle maintenance tasks when ATF lane is closed.
