Job summary

Ellis James Partners in London is seeking an Associate Wealth Manager to join a structured adviser development programme. You will work alongside experienced Wealth Managers, attend meetings, perform client servicing and support technical planning as you move toward becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.

The programme lasts around 18 months, with mentoring, market exposure and learning opportunities. Salary between £29,000 and £33,000 plus bonus, with hybrid working and access to private

Qualifications

• Experience within a wealth management/financial planning environment.
• Minimum of 2 RO exams (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with a professional approach.
• Motivated, proactive, and keen to progress into an advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings alongside Wealth Managers.
• Manage client servicing and follow-up actions.
• Prepare technical calculations, cashflow models and planning reports.
• Conduct investment research and analysis.
• Respond to client queries.
• Identify opportunities within existing client relationships.
• Support advisers throughout the end-to-end planning process.
