Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is recruiting an Assistant Transport Planner or Transport Planner to join the Bristol team. The role involves supporting development planning projects from feasibility to planning approval, working with senior transport planners and multidisciplinary design teams.

You will contribute to TA/TS/Travel Plans, assist with junction modelling, and prepare vehicle tracking drawings while developing technical and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Transport Planning or related discipline is required.
• Around 2 years' experience in transport or development planning consultancy.
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoTrack and Junctions 10 (ARCADY/PICADY).
• ArcGIS experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of development planning projects alongside senior transport planners.
• Assist with Transport Assessments, Statements, Travel Plans and related documents.
• Contribute to junction modelling and capacity assessments.
• Produce swept path analysis and vehicle tracking drawings.
• Liaise with clients, architects, planners and authorities.
