Are you a talented and ambitious Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? Carrington West is working with a renowned private planning practice located just outside of Oxfordshire, who are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Associate Town Planner.

As an Associate Town Planner, you will play a key role in our team, contributing to a variety of projects across different sectors. You will be responsible for managing planning applications, conducting research, and providing expert advice to clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with a talented and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications.
2. Provide expert advice to clients on planning policies and regulations.
3. Conduct site visits, assessments, and research to support planning proposals.
4. Work closely with colleagues, architects, and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
5. Keep abreast of changes in planning legislation and contribute to the development of planning strategies.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
2. Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards chartered status.
3. Proven experience in a town planning role, ideally within a private consultancy.
4. Strong knowledge of UK planning policies and regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
