Job summary

GSL Education Kent is recruiting a dedicated Associate Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Canterbury. This role offers an opportunity for graduates or experienced professionals to gain classroom experience while supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development.

You will work alongside the teaching team to deliver engaging learning activities, help pupils overcome barriers to learning, and foster positive attitudes towards education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a primary school, educational or mentoring setting.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of engaging learning activities across the primary curriculum.
• Work with pupils one-to-one and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help develop pupils' literacy, numeracy, confidence and independence.
• Encourage positive behaviour, participation and a love of learning.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support pupils' progress and wellbeing.
