Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, just a stone's throw from Holborn Station, has been a key player in the property sector since the 1820s and is now seeking a passionate Senior Surveyor to join their successful Business Rates team.

This individual will support, learn, and develop alongside an experienced team, with responsibilities including progressing tenant and owner/occupier appeal work and providing consultancy services. You will have direct responsibility for clients and collaborate with partners and senior staff.

What is on offer? A stimulating and varied workload within a dedicated rating team, working across multiple property sectors including offices, shops, industrial properties, and notable clients such as football clubs, the British Library, and museums. No two days will be the same!

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Support senior team members.
• Assist with casework while managing and developing your own cases under supervision.
• Prepare valuation data, including rental, trade, and build costs analysis.
• Conduct property inspections and measurements.
• Communicate with public bodies (Assessors, Valuation Officers, local authorities) and clients.
• Engage in business development to increase fee income.
• Attend client meetings, supervised as needed.
• Prepare for and attend tribunals as appropriate.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably required.
