A leading US law firm in London is seeking a strong associate (2–6 PQE) to join its highly regarded Structured Finance team, with a focus on CLOs and related credit products.

Working closely within a team of market-leading partners and associates, the successful candidate will advise arrangers, managers, investors, and originators on complex, high-value transactions across the structured credit space.

The team:

This group is central to the firm’s global finance platform and is recognized for its CLO expertise. It is lean, hands-on, and deeply involved in the London and European structured credit markets, advising on manager-led and arbitrage CLOs, risk retention structures, warehousing, and broader structured lending products.

The role:

• Advise on CLO transactions, including new issues, resets, refinancings, and warehouse facilities
• Draft and negotiate key deal documentation, often on cross-border mandates
• Collaborate with senior partners and have direct exposure to high-profile clients
• Build deep product knowledge while staying closely connected to market developments

Candidate profile:

• 2–6 PQE with experience in structured finance, CLOs, or securitisation
• Comfortable working on fast-paced, technical transactions
• Common law qualified (England & Wales or equivalent)
• Aspiring to join a top-tier team with active deal flow and learning opportunities
