A leading US law firm in London is seeking a strong associate (2–6 PQE) to join its highly regarded Structured Finance team, with a particular focus on CLOs and related credit products.

Working closely within a highly regarded team of market-leading partners and associates, the successful candidate will be advising arrangers, managers, investors, and originators on complex, high-value transactions across the structured credit space.

The team:

This group sits at the heart of the firm’s global finance platform and is widely recognised for its CLO capabilities. It’s lean, hands-on, and deeply embedded in the London and European structured credit market. The team regularly advises on manager-led and arbitrage CLOs, risk retention structures, warehousing arrangements, and broader structured lending products.

The role:

• Advise on a range of CLO transactions, including new issues, resets, refinancings, and warehouse facilities
• Draft and negotiate key deal documentation, often on cross-border mandates
• Work closely with senior partners, including direct exposure to high-profile clients
• Opportunity to build deep product knowledge while remaining commercially close to the market

Candidate profile:

• 2–6 PQE with experience in structured finance, CLOs, or broader securitisation
• Comfortable working on fast-paced, technical transactions
• Common law qualified (England & Wales or equivalent)
• Looking for a top-tier team with real deal flow, visibility, and learning
