Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting on behalf of a leading consulting engineering firm with a global presence for a Senior Associate to join their Construction Engineering team in London. You will collaborate with Discipline Leads to support growth across structural, civil, infrastructure and construction disciplines.

Responsibilities include developing design solutions, drafting reports and specifications, conducting site investigations, preparing proposals, and managing projects from inception

Qualifications

• MEng degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
• CEng or equivalent Chartered status.
• 8+ years in geotechnical engineering or related fields.
• Experience in engineering consultancy or construction industry.
• Strong communication, time management and detail orientation.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Commercial project management experience.

My client is an innovative consulting engineering firm with a global presence and a focus on delivering impactful engineering solutions across various sectors. Their London office is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join their Construction Engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Discipline Leads to support team growth and work alongside structural, civil, infrastructure, and construction engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in engineering consultancy or the construction industry, with a focus on geotechnical engineering or related fields.
• MEng qualifications or higher.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
• Proficient understanding of relevant engineering standards and guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Established connections within the construction engineering industry and ideally possess an existing client network.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in supervising and mentoring junior engineers.
• Commercial project management skills with a focus on delivering successful outcomes.
