Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking a strategist/analyst to join the Banking Commercial Strategy team in London. You will support pricing, customer analytics, and portfolio analytics to inform deal decisions and broader strategic initiatives.

You will build dashboards, forecast models, segmentation analyses, and portfolio-level insights, enabling data-driven recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional partnerships across product, sales, and finance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in strategy, customer analytics, or business intelligence, ideally within the banking industry.
• Strong, hands-on proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential; working knowledge of Power BI, Alteryx, or SQL is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce/SFDC) for generating reports and building, maintaining, and monitoring dashboards.
• Comfortable handling large sets of sparse and multi-source data (quantitative and qualitative).
• Demonstrated analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns and draw sound business inferences.
• Curious and self-directed; quick learner and adaptable to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support Banking's Commercial Strategy team with pricing, customer, and portfolio analytics that inform deal-desk decisions and broader strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain customer and market analytics, deal-desk support models, and ARR/ retention dashboards for the Banking business.
• Develop forecasting models, segmentation analysis, and portfolio-level analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Support execution monitoring and process governance cadences for key strategic initiatives with senior strategists.
• Maintain and evolve data models and automation/ AI-enabled workflows to improve speed and accuracy of recurring analysis.
• Support initiatives such as the Banking Hub and OKR monitoring with foundational data and reporting.
• Translate analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior strategists.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred but not required at this level
