Job summary

Selby Jennings in London is seeking an Associate to support and develop relationships with private equity clients across Europe within the Financial Sponsors franchise. • 3–6 years of relevant experience within Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance or Sponsor Coverage.
• Strong understanding of sponsor-backed transactions, LBO structures and acquisition financing.
• Proven financial modelling and credit analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A commercial mindset with a genuine interest in developing client relationships.
• Desire to move into a broader origination and coverage-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Support coverage and relationship management of private equity sponsors across the UK and wider European market.
