Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant experience within Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance or Sponsor Coverage.
• Strong understanding of sponsor-backed transactions, LBO structures and acquisition financing.
• Proven financial modelling and credit analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A commercial mindset with a genuine interest in developing client relationships.
• Desire to move into a broader origination and coverage-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Support coverage and relationship management of private equity sponsors across the UK and wider European market.
• Partner with product teams including Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, DCM, ECM, M&A and Corporate Banking to originate and execute transactions.
• Assist in the development of strategic client plans and sponsor engagement initiatives.
• Prepare client materials, market updates, pitchbooks and internal approval documentation.
• Coordinate deal execution processes across internal stakeholders and external advisory parties.
• Monitor sponsor activity, portfolio developments and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
