Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years' PQE in professional negligence or defence insurance.

Responsibilities

• Advise on professional indemnity, financial lines, regulatory investigations and civil disputes.
• Represent in complex negligence matters and medical/n liability cases.

Job description

We are working with an elite international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Professional Negligence team within their Belfast office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a nationally recognised Defence Insurance practice, advising on a range of complex disputes and negligence matters. The candidate will advise on matters relating to professional indemnity and financial lines claims, regulatory investigations and compliance issues, medical negligence and injury liability claims, employment liability matters and investigations, and civil litigation and dispute resolution.

The candidate will play a key role in some of the most high-profile professional negligence cases in Northern Ireland. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
