Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with exposure to pensions law.

Responsibilities

• Support partners and senior lawyers on a wide range of pensions and life assurance matters, including advisory, transactional, and regulatory work.
• Advise trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pension scheme and life assurance scheme issues, such as governance, benefit structures, and compliance.
• Assist with the pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and drafting pensions-related documentation.
• Draft and review scheme documentation, member communications, and legal advice notes.
• Conduct legal research and stay up to date with developments in pensions law and regulatory changes.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to delivering practical, client-focused solutions.
• Support business development activities, including preparing pitches and contributing to thought leadership.
