Job summary

G2 Legal is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor with 3+ years PQE to join our nationally recognised disputes practice. You will handle a varied caseload of high-value will and trust disputes, acting autonomously while receiving mentoring from leading specialists.

The firm supports remote and hybrid working as standard, emphasises work-life balance and clear progression toward partnership within a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in contentious probate.
• Solid contentious probate experience with will/trust disputes.
• Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical ability and excellent client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex contentious probate matters including will and inheritance disputes.
• Advise clients on disputes under Inheritance Act 1975, trust disputes, and executor issues.
• Work with a collaborative team while developing specialist expertise and pursuing partnership.

I'm keen to speak with Contentious Probate Solicitors (3+ PQE) who are looking to join a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates.

This highly regarded firm has established an exceptional reputation for handling complex, high-value contentious probate matters. Unlike many private client teams, the practice is dedicated solely to contentious work, offering lawyers the opportunity to develop genuine specialist expertise while working alongside some of the leading names in the field.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of complex disputes, including will and inheritance disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust and estate disputes, challenges to the validity and capacity of wills, and executor and trustee disputes. You'll enjoy the autonomy to run your own matters while benefiting from the support, mentoring and technical expertise of a collaborative and experienced team.
