Job summary

G2 Legal in Leeds is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor with 3+ PQE to join a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice dedicated to contentious trusts and estates.

You will handle a broad range of disputes, including will and inheritance issues, trusts, executor and trustee matters, and capacity challenges, with autonomy and the backing of a skilled team. The role offers flexible remote or hybrid working and clear progression toward Partnership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in contentious probate.
• Strong technical ability in contentious trusts and estates.
• Excellent client care and judgment for complex disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex probate disputes including will, inheritance, trust and executor/trustee matters.
• Operate with autonomy while receiving mentoring and support from a collaborative team.

I'm keen to speak with Contentious Probate Solicitors (3+ PQE) who are looking to join a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates.

This highly regarded firm has established an exceptional reputation for handling complex, high-value contentious probate matters. Unlike many private client teams, the practice is dedicated solely to contentious work, offering lawyers the opportunity to develop genuine specialist expertise while working alongside some of the leading names in the field.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of complex disputes, including will and inheritance disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust and estate disputes, challenges to the validity and capacity of wills, and executor and trustee disputes. You'll enjoy the autonomy to run your own matters while benefiting from the support, mentoring and technical expertise of a collaborative and experienced team.
