This is an associate level role for a Software Engineer in the Platform Data and Reporting team, focusing on maintaining and developing backend microservices handling large data volumes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Participate in all stages of product development, from conceptualization to support.
2. Develop backend services for new features and maintain existing ones.
3. Engage in code reviews, architectural decisions, and agile practices.
4. Support clients and stakeholders by resolving issues.

Your Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

Essential

• Experience with object-oriented programming languages: Scala, Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of testing principles and ability to develop automated server-side tests.
• Pragmatic approach to prioritizing key business and technical tasks.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and languages.

Desirable

• Experience with containerization and DevOps.
• Experience optimizing systems for large data handling at database and service interaction levels.
