Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Smart Building & Systems integration team in Cardiff. The role involves technical leadership in project management, from initial design through to client handover, focusing on providing innovative Smart Building solutions.

Candidates should have strong experience in Smart Building Technology design, a solid understanding of cybersecurity, and capability in leading multidisciplinary design projects. The position offers a hybrid work model allowing flexibility while promoting health and wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Smart Building Technology design and project delivery of medium to large building projects.
• Ability to develop digital strategies centred around Smart buildings.
• Demonstrated understanding of emerging AI solutions relevant to the built environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and project management for Smart Building projects.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders from concept to detailed design.
• Produce detailed design and performance specifications, reviewing them prior to issue.
