Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate Site Reliability Engineer to help build, run and continuously improve the Consolidated Trade Ledger platform in London. This role combines software and systems engineering to boost reliability, observability and incident response for a cloud-native service.

The candidate will implement automation, maintain canary and blue/green deployment approaches, and contribute to scalable design and runbooks within a finance-focused production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in modern programming languages (Java or Go) with automation.
• Strong networking, distributed systems and software design fundamentals.
• Hands-on observability tooling (metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards).

Responsibilities

• Build, run and improve the CTL platform for reliability and scalability.
• Investigate production issues and deliver durable engineering fixes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate updates on technical issues.
