- Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking your next career move? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join a reputable construction industry employer. This permanent role is suitable for professionals with 5-10 years of experience, from client-side or main contractor backgrounds.
- Role Overview: You will guide clients and project teams through high-profile construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards. Your expertise will provide essential commercial and qualitative advice, influencing project success.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with feasibility studies and procurement reports.
- Develop detailed estimates and cost plans; present final cost plans to clients.
- Lead tendering and procurement, managing pre-qualification stages.
- Manage post-contract cost variances and change processes.
- Oversee cost checks, valuations, and manage costs throughout projects.
- Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports.
- Contribute to value engineering and negotiate final accounts.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

- Candidate Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Quantity Surveying experience, with a proven track record in PQS or main contractor environments.
- Experience in front-end estimating and cost planning.
- Strong understanding of construction practices and value for money.
- Knowledge of MMC/JCT and NEC contracts.
- Experience delivering cost management across project phases.
- Professional qualification (RICS or equivalent) preferred.
- Relevant degree or HNC qualification.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proactive, collaborative approach.
