Job Description:

• Design, development, integration, evaluation and verification of DSP audio filters and algorithms.
• Design, development, integration and verification of DSP embedded solutions.
• Deliver high-quality design and code within agreed timescales.
• Provide high-quality tests within agreed timescales.
• Ensure customer acceptance of Renesas solutions with proven and measurable compliance to specifications.
• Drive, regulate, and prioritize activities to meet timescales and goals.
• Maintain comprehensive and high-quality technical documentation.
• Reduce code maintenance and increase code reuse.

Qualifications

• Essential: Excellent knowledge in DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures. Strong embedded architectures and real-time embedded software expertise. Fluent in real-time embedded C/C++, with deep DSP algorithm development knowledge. Good problem-solving, debugging skills, and proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB. Understanding of fixed-point implementation, software development workflows, and issue tracking tools like JIRA. Ability to work under tight schedules and deadlines. Clear, concise, and proactive communication skills suitable for a multi-site, multicultural environment.
• Desirable: Experience in audio, digital filtering, portable audio applications (headphones, wireless earbuds). Optimization of DSP solutions for low footprint, latency, and power. Team or technical leadership experience. Familiarity with CI tools like Jenkins and SystemC.
