Job summary

Halliford Partners is working with an international law firm seeking funds lawyers to join their team as Associate and Senior Associate. The firm aims to grow its Private Funds practice and welcomes candidates with strong private funds experience from international or leading regional firms.

The practice serves a broad client base, including private equity fund sponsors, real estate and private credit funds, asset and wealth managers, and institutional investors.

Qualifications

• Transactional private funds experience required.
• Experience at international or leading regional firm preferred.
• Strong technical grounding in private funds work.
• Commercial and pragmatic approach to transactions.
• Confidence in managing transactions and client relationships.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with private funds transactions and document drafting.
• Support senior lawyers in client engagement and deal execution.
• Coordinate with cross-border teams to manage complex fund structures.
• Deliver pragmatic, commercially-focused advice to clients.

The firm are looking to recruit both an Associate and a Senior Associate to play an integral role in the continued growth of their Private Funds practice.

Candidates will have a good range of transactional private funds experience, ideally gained from working within an international or leading regional firm.

The practice

The practice advises a broad range of clients, including:

• Private equity fund sponsors
• Infrastructure, real estate and private credit funds
• Asset and wealth managers
• Institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds
• Managers forming and operating AIFs and other private fund structures

What we are looking for

• Excellent academics
• Applicants will ideally have gained their experience at another international or leading regional firm.
