Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking an Associate SecDevOps Engineer to help automate deployments, secure cloud environments and improve our CI/CD practices. You will support infrastructure automation across modern cloud platforms and contribute to tooling and remediation efforts in collaboration with engineering and security teams.

Qualifications

• Foundational experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, cyber security or related technology.
• Awareness of Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tools such as Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar.

Responsibilities

• Support the automation of infrastructure, deployments, monitoring and operational processes across modern cloud platforms.
• Embed security, compliance and resilience controls into CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments and software delivery practices.
• Contribute to platform improvements, operational readiness activities and reusable engineering tooling.
• Work with engineering, security and vulnerability management teams to identify and address security risks.
• Assist with automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, secrets management and policy enforcement.
• Participate in incident investigations, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives across SecDevOps practices.
